Class Is Back In Session, And That Cast Has Got To Come Off!!

Today, my kids started back to school.

Yep, you read that right. :) It's so hard for me to do school during basketball season that we take a huge break from December through February. A homeschooling advantage if there ever was one.

HOWEVER, due to today being President's Day, and all their friends are out of public/private school, I only made them suffer through math and language. Well, only my daughter suffered through the two. I was selfish and didn't make my son do his Algebra 1 today. I'd have to write too much for him!! :)

The sun is shining here today, and they were bouncing off the walls to go outside. Right now, they're out playing b'ball with the neighborhood kids.

We are heading into town in a few minutes to get the cast cut off my son's arm. Yay!! I can't believe it's been 6 whole weeks since his bike wreck. I don't know what I'm going to do now that I don't have to wrap his arm in a garbage bag before he showers everyday.

Ok. Ok. You got me. I DO know. I'll eat another Millionaire just for being a good mommy to have done his dish duty and his Algebra writing while his arm was healing. ;)

Hey Jenny!
Just making the rounds after a looooong sebatical. There is nothing better than the sound of your children laughing and having fun outside! I read some of the past posts...can't believe your little guy broke his arm!!! =(.
So sweet what your hubs did for you on your anniversary. What a guy! Hope your life returns to a more quiet pace now that BB season is finished and school will start up again. I miss you and hope I can get back into the swing of blogging now. It's so much more fun to keep up with my bloggy pals on a regular basis! Talk to you soon! love,Corrie

I bet your son is very happy to be getting that cast off. My kids hate it when it starts to itch inside and they just want to take a real shower.

Enjoy the schooling!

God Bless,
Julie

Yay for the cast coming off! You shouldn't just eat one, get a whole box, much better that way!

Hey! I will have to say that I am enjoying having my daughter back. I doubt your kids are enjoying getting back to the old grind though! It's time for life to slow down a little--maybe we will actually be able to get together soon????

Glad to hear that the cast is coming off....I bet he is one happy boy too.

Wow, has it been six weeks?! I bet he's so glad, and you too. Definitely eat tons of chocolate to celebrate :)

That's a nice homeschool break. I know they hate to see it end!!

Hooray for your son! I hope he's happy about having the cast off.

As for homeschooling, I love the flexibility!

Ok, you got me, too. What is a Millionaire? From what I have read in these other comments, I'm guessing it has to do with chocolate...In that case, you aren't a "good" mommy. You're GREAT. Have a few Millionaires! *grin*
